Brock's First haircut...3 months old!

Here is the before shot when he is saying, "You are going to do WHAT to my hair?"

Aahhh! Much better...I feel so much lighter. Notice all the hair in the sink...can you believe someone his age could have so much hair? Steve says that he donates a little of his own hair to each child and that is why they have so much and he has NONE!

Here is the side view. His hair is soooo much lighter now!

Christmas tree farm!

Every year we go and cut down our own Christmas tree. This year we went to a pretty cool place that had reindeer, a wagon ride, hot chocolate and more! The kids had a great time and once again we got a Christmas tree that was too big for the house!

Trent, Camryn and Elway in front of our Christmas tree!
This was almost going to be our Christmas card...what do you think?

This was one of the reindeer...on loan from Santa himself!!!

Brock's surgery!

Brock had minor inguinal hernia surgery last Friday! It was minor, but we were so happy when it was over and he was back in our arms. Thanks for all the prayers from friends and family!

Post surgery...we loved the little gowns at children's hospital!

Before the anesthesia wore of we tried to get a happier face on him for the camera...he was so out of it that his face muscles were so relaxed and it looks like he is frowning in every picture!

Brock is 2 months!

The kids LOVE to entertain Brock!

Brock and Camryn playing dolls!

Trent reading to Brock

You really couldn't ask for a better big brother...notice Trent is holding his hand!

Batman and Batgirl!!!

Trent has been talking about being batman for a couple of months now and really wanted Camryn to be batgirl instead of Tinkerbell. After a few weeks he had convinced her how cool batgirl is!!!
Waiting for trick-or-treating
This was taken right before our church trunk-or-treat! I had bought face make-up to draw Camryn's face mask and Trent asked if he could draw something on his face. I assumed he would draw a black bat or something. Instead he just scribbled with all the different colors on his whole face!!! Atleast it was halloween!
Our little Nascar driver!

Trick-or-treating the neighborhood. I would have a picture of Trent, but he was running from door to door!

Steve was a Phillies fan...I was boring and didn't dress up this year...too many other things going on I guess!
This was the best picture I got that night of Brock...but the expression says it all...THIRD CHILD!!!
Sorting out the goods! And eating way more candy than needed!!! Happy Halloween a few weeks late!

Brock is 1 month old!!!

Brock turned 1 month yesterday and we can hardly believe it. We are adjusting quickly to life with three kids and enjoying every minute of it. Brock really is so sweet and the kids LOVE their new baby brother. Brock continues to grow as you will be able to see in the next few pictures...

Brock and Camryn
They are SO impressed that Brock can hold on to Trent's finger that...

Camryn insists on making him hold hers too!!!
Getting a diaper change!
Getting a bath from Camryn!
Wrapping up in the dinosaur towel that Trent picked out for Brock, or was it for him???
At 1 1/2 weeks old, Brock had his first visitor from afar (besides family members), Steve, all the way from So Cal!!! Thanks for making the trip down here Steve!

Sidenote: Camryn went to a dance class as a visitor the other day and she can't stop talking about the class...I guess we will be signing her up sooner than we thought!

Brock Stephen McMinn Has Arrived

The newest addition to our family has finally arrived and Amanda and I are officially outnumbered. Brock Stephen McMinn was born a day before his due date on Tuesday September 8 and weighed in at a hefty 9 lbs 6 oz and 22 inches long. Those are the kind of stats that can only make a dad proud.

We had the hardest time deciding on a name for him and we never officially settled on his name until after he was born. We had a few names picked out that we liked but after we saw him, we decided that he looked most like a Brock (or B-Rock). He is a sweet little boy and he looks exaclty like Trent when he was born.

As would be expected, Amanda is doing great. She's such a great mom. As most of you know, labor is pretty rough and there is a reason that men don't babies. This has been the most post-delivery discomfort Amanda has been in with any of our kids so I feel bad for her, but she's pretty tough and she's dealing with it much better than I could. Also, Brock's head was 15 1/4 inches around so you can imagine the discomfort delivering that would cause.

These are our the proud big brother and big sister to Brock. The love the new shirts that Grandma got for them.

This is Brock with his cute little cousin Kate (Hank & Jessica's baby girl).
