...Piggly Wiggly

Trent's Pre-school class went to the famous grocery store...piggly wiggly...on a field trip the other day. The store manager and staff spoiled the kids with many activities including getting to meet the PIG himself! They had their faces painted, a special treat from the flower arranger, were able to witness a chicken being butchered (that was a little scary for some!), and got to decorate a cookie at the bakery. They left with a "go green" grocery bag full of candy and balloons! It was great!

I don't know why this event is such a big deal, but it leaves bonding time for Camryn and I and gets Steve and Trent some time as well! They love it too!

October at the Beach!!!

What a beautiful week at the beach last week! We went with my sister Jessica and her family. The kids had too much fun, but the adults had more fun! It was a nice relaxing (as relaxing as it can get with 2 kids) weekend, and the weather was TOO perfect!

The kids made a lot of new friends. Trent is in the middle and his two new friends were brave enough to let me bury them next to him!!

Steve built a HUGE whole in the sand that Camryn and all the kids LOVED climbing in and out of.

P.S. I ran a 10K with my sister on Saturday morning at the beach under one hour...that was my goal. My time was 58 min. 28 sec. I was proud of myself and needed somewhere to post my time in hopes to beat it the next time I run a 10k!

Redneck Fun!

This was Chase (their cousin) and Trent's idea of fun for the afternoon. It started off as Chase riding the dumptruck down the hill, but when Trent said he wanted a turn Camryn beat him to the truck and jumped on for the ride. It was too funny watching my 16 month old ride the truck down the hill thinking it was the greatest thing in the world (until she fell off of course!)

This post is dedicated to my number one BYU fan...my Dad (Ha...if any of you know him, he would be cringing at his granddaughter wearing blue as he bleeds red!!!) We are pretty proud of BYU football this year though, and wish we had season tickets this year!!! Go COUGS!!!
